A. What is covered by this privacy policy?

This policy applies to all personal information and Analytics data collected, used and disclosed by the Active5, whether online (e.g. via email or an online program), in person (e.g. via physical activity readiness questionnaires) , evaluations or assessments, actual training and usage data or your feedback) or otherwise received from you (e.g. letters, over the phone, by interacting with our mobile applications or other online properties, any other part of the A5 Platform or surveys / questionnaires).

Unless otherwise agreed, this policy also applies to information about you that is disclosed by Active5 to its customers, associates, such as your gym or your employer. Other third parties, such as social networks you use in connection with the A5 Platform, may also collect, use and share information about you. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of each of those sites to understand how your information is used or shared by those third parties.

B. Collection of Personal Information and Analytics Data.

Personal information is information that can be used to identify, locate or contact you. It also includes other information about you that we associate with personal information. Active5 collects the following types of personal information:

Contact information that allows us to identify and communicate with you, such as the name, physical address, email address and phone number of your or your emergency contact.

Demographic information that allows us to track your progress through a fitness program, such as your age, gender, height and weight, training history and other information you provide to us regarding diet, exercise, mindset and recovery, so that we can provide the services you have requested.

  • Transaction Information about how you interact with us and business partners, including memberships, purchases, inquiries and customer accounts.
  • Financial information as needed to facilitate purchases, such as your credit card information.
  • Applicant Information if needed from those applying for jobs and internships with Active5.
  • Training information about your training activity and physical performance.

Analytics Data is data generated by, collected by, transmitted from or stored in equipment based on its use. Analytics Data includes information collected through your use of training devices, information transmitted by your computer or mobile device when interacting with our online properties, such as server logging information. Analytics Data also includes information transmitted from your computer or mobile device when interacting with cookies, web beacons and other tracking objects. For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store personal information in their user profile. All Users may view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (user name cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and change this information.

Children Under 13. Active5 does not and will not knowingly sell personal information or Analytics data from or about a child under the age of 13 without the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will immediately take all reasonable steps to delete that information from our systems.

C. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor's IP address and the browser user agent to help detect spam. An anonymous string created from your email address (this is also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it.

The privacy policy page can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment. Media If you are a registered user and upload images to the site you should avoid uploading images that contain EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download images from the site and view the location data.

D. Cookies

When you leave a comment on our site, you can indicate whether your name, e-mail address and website may be stored in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so you don't have to fill in these details again for a new comment. These cookies are valid for one year. If you visit our login page, we store a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser. Once you log in, we will store some cookies related to your login information and screen display options. Login cookies are valid for 2 days and cookies for screen display options are valid for 1 year. If you select "Remember me", your login will be saved for 2 weeks. As soon as you log out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted. When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie is stored by your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and merely holds the post ID of the article you edited. This cookie expires after one day. Embedded content of other websites Posts on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, messages, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor visited that other website. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including interaction with embedded content when you have an account and are logged in to that website.

E. Confidentiality and security

Unfortunately, no data transmitted or accessed over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while Active5 attempts to protect all personal information, Active5 cannot guarantee that personal information is completely secure from misuse by hackers or other criminal activity, or in the event of a computer hardware, software or telecommunications network failure. Active5 will notify you in the event that we are made aware of a security breach involving your personally identifiable information (as defined by applicable national and international law) stored by or for us. By disclosing your email address to us for any reason, you expressly consent to electronic notification from us in the event of such a security breach.

F. Public Forums

Any information you disclose in public areas, website or other online system operated by Active5 (or, of course, the Internet in general) may become public information. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in such areas.

G. What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or you have left comments, you may request an export file of any personal data we hold about you, including any data you have given us. You may also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

H. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Please note that this Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time without notice. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on / on the physical operation, website or other online system or part of the A5 Platform operated by the Active5.

Active5 does not endorse or make any representations or warranties regarding, and is not in any way liable for, any information content, products, services, software, or other materials available on any external website, even if one or more pages of the external website is framed within a page of an online property controlled by Active5. Active5 is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
